Kevin Walsh is the Managing Director of the SVG New York and New Jersey office. He has worked in the real estate industry since 2001 and as an appraiser since 2014. He has lived in New York City since 1997. Before joining SVG he worked at Bowery Valuation and Aaron Valuation, both in New York City.
Mr. Walsh has a wide range of commercial appraisal experience. He appraises apartment buildings, condominium and cooperative buildings, industrial buildings, retail properties, office buildings, mixed-use properties, affordable housing, schools and other specialty properties. He has extensive experience valuing land and prospective developments in New York City and New Jersey. Mr. Walsh also has experience with periodic portfolio valuation for financial reporting and with third party review.
Mr. Walsh graduated magna cum laude from Washington University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Japanese Studies. He earned a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University and has completed coursework in the M.S. in Real Estate program at New York University. He holds the Appraisal Institute’s prestigious MAI and AI-GRS designations.
